FAQ

Questions Indian parents ask

Is online fee payment safe?

Yes. Schoolites uses Razorpay, PayU and Easebuzz — RBI-regulated payment gateways with PCI-DSS Level 1 certification. The school never sees your card or UPI details.

What if the payment fails but money is deducted?

It happens occasionally with UPI. The amount is auto-refunded by your bank within 3–5 working days. The app shows the payment status and you can also raise a dispute from within the app.

Can I pay fees for two children from one account?

Yes. Add both children to your account using the OTP-based linking flow. You can pay either child's fees from the same login.

Will I get a receipt valid for income-tax 80C?

Yes. The receipt includes your name, child's name, school's PAN, fee head break-up and GST where applicable — exactly what you need for Section 80C tuition fee deduction.

My school does not show online payment in the app. Why?

The school needs to activate a payment gateway on Schoolites. Ask the accounts office or principal — it takes them about 2 hours to enable.

Can I get a refund if I pay twice?

Yes. Either ask the school accounts office to refund or adjust against the next term, or raise a payment dispute in the app. Schoolites tracks every transaction with a unique reference.
