How does the visitor management system work at the school gate?
The gate guard opens the visitor screen on a tablet/laptop, takes the visitor's photo (webcam), scans their ID (Aadhaar/PAN/DL), records purpose and host name. The host (staff/teacher) gets an instant notification (app + WhatsApp) and approves or declines. The visitor gets a QR pass to carry; on exit, the gate scans the QR to auto-record out-time.
Does it work for parent pickup at dismissal?
Yes — for early or late pickup, the gate scans the parent's face against the registered photo on file. If a different person attempts pickup, an alert goes to the registered parent and to the principal.
Can we maintain a blacklist of unwanted visitors?
Yes — a watch-list / blacklist of suspended parents, ex-staff or banned individuals. The system raises an alert if such a person attempts to enter.
What if the school has multiple gates?
Each gate has its own tablet/laptop; data is unified in the central visitor log. Per-gate access permissions configurable.
Do we get reports we can show to authorities or insurance?
