Schoolites Parent App

School Homework App — Never Miss a Submission Again

"Ma'am gave homework but I don't remember" should not be your child's evening excuse. The Schoolites homework app shows you every subject's homework, the due date, and attached worksheets — straight from the teacher's phone.

Indian school homework still travels mostly through scribbled diary entries that get torn, lost or simply forgotten. The Schoolites homework module replaces the diary with an app — teachers post the homework once, every parent in the class sees it instantly, and submissions can be made digitally with a photo. No more diary disputes.

What you get

Built for Indian parents, on Indian phones

Concrete features — no buzzwords.

Today, week, and pending view

Three tabs: today's homework, this week's, and any pending items past their due date. Pending items have a red badge.

Worksheets, PDFs, videos

Teachers attach the actual worksheet, a PDF reference, or a YouTube video. Your child opens the same files on their study tab.

Photo submission

Click a photo of completed work and submit through the app. Teacher sees it on her phone, ticks it off, can leave a comment.

Reminders before due date

Push notification the evening before any homework is due. Useful for children who forget to plan.

Teacher feedback

Teacher's comments, marks for the homework, or "redo" instructions all appear in the same thread.

Submission history

See every submission across the year — useful for tracking improvement and for parent-teacher meetings.

How it works

Three steps. No setup at your end.

1

Teacher posts homework

Subject teacher opens the teacher app, types the homework, attaches a worksheet, sets the due date.

2

You & child see it instantly

Push notification on your phone and your child's phone (if they have access). Diary entry is no longer needed.

3

Submit, get feedback

Either complete on paper and bring to school, or submit a photo through the app. Teacher feedback shows up in the same thread.

Why this matters for Indian parents

A 2024 survey of Indian school principals found "homework not communicated to parents" was the third most common parent complaint, after fees and attendance. A homework app eliminates the dispute entirely — there is one source of truth, time-stamped, visible to the parent, child and teacher.

FAQ

Questions Indian parents ask

My child does not have a phone. Will the homework app still work?
Yes. The parent app is on your phone. You can read out the homework, or share the screen with your child. Many schools also project the homework on the smart board in class.
What if the teacher does not post homework?
You will see an empty tab for that subject. You can message the subject teacher directly through the app to ask.
Can my child submit homework digitally?
Yes — through the student tab in the same app. Photo of paper work, or upload a PDF / Word file. The teacher receives it and marks it.
Is the homework saved or does it disappear after the due date?
Saved permanently. You can scroll back to homework from months ago, useful for revision before exams.
Will my child still write in the diary?
Many schools keep a paper diary as backup for the first year. After everyone is comfortable, most schools drop it entirely.
Does the homework app work offline?
You need internet to refresh the latest homework, but once loaded you can view it offline. Photo submission needs internet.
