Questions Indian parents ask

Will I get spammed with too many notices?
No. The school decides who receives what. Class-specific notices go only to that class. You can also choose which categories you want WhatsApp alerts for.
Can I share a notice with my spouse or family?
Yes. Long-press any notice and tap Share — it forwards as plain text or a PDF attachment to WhatsApp, email or any other app on your phone.
Can I download a notice as a PDF?
Yes. Any notice with an attachment is downloadable. Long-press the message to share on WhatsApp or save.
Does the school know whether I have read the notice?
Yes — a read receipt goes back to the school. This is one-way: the school sees who has read, but parents do not see other parents.
Do I still need to be on the school WhatsApp group?
Most Schoolites schools shut down parallel WhatsApp groups after a month. The app is the single source of truth.
I am not getting notifications. How do I fix it?
Open the Schoolites app, go to Settings → Notifications, make sure they are enabled. Also check that your phone OS hasn't blocked the Schoolites app from sending notifications.
