What is Data Lock?

Data lock in UDISE+ refers to the point when school data becomes permanently frozen and no further changes can be made. This ensures data integrity for national statistics and policy planning.

Important: Once data is locked, corrections require special administrative permissions and extensive paperwork. Verify everything before lock date!
