How to Reset UDISE+ Password
If you've forgotten your UDISE+ portal password, don't worry. You can easily reset it using one of these methods:
Method 1: Reset Using OTP (Recommended)
Visit UDISE+ Portal
Go to udiseplus.gov.in and click on the "Login" button in the navigation bar.
Click "Forgot Password"
On the login page, click the "Forgot Password" link located below the login form.
Enter Your UDISE Code
Enter your school's 11-digit UDISE code. If you don't know your code, see our school code guide.
Enter Registered Mobile Number
Enter the mobile number registered with your UDISE+ account. This is typically the principal's or school manager's number.
Receive & Enter OTP
You'll receive a 6-digit OTP on your mobile. Enter this OTP within the time limit (usually 5-10 minutes).
Set New Password
Create a strong new password. Use a mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special characters. Minimum 8 characters recommended.

Method 2: Reset Through Block Education Office
If OTP method doesn't work (wrong mobile registered, OTP not received), contact your BEO:
- Visit your local Block Education Office
- Carry school authorization letter and ID proof
- Request UDISE+ password reset
- BEO will reset password from their admin panel
- Receive new password and login
Strong Password Tips
When creating your new password:
- Use at least 8 characters
- Include uppercase and lowercase letters
- Add numbers and special characters (@, #, $, etc.)
- Don't use school name or UDISE code as password
- Don't share password with unauthorized persons
- Change password periodically (every 3-6 months)
