Common Data Mismatches

How to Fix Data Mismatches
Step 1: Identify the Mismatch
Read the error message carefully. It will tell you which fields don't match.
Step 2: Cross-Check Numbers
Use Excel to verify: Boys + Girls = Total for each class, sum of all classes = Total enrollment
Step 3: Correct the Data
Update either individual records or the total to make them match.
Step 4: Validate & Submit
Run validation again. If no errors, proceed with submission.
Prevention Tips
- Maintain master data in Excel with formulas for auto-calculation
- Double-check before entering data in UDISE+
- Use class-wise register as source of truth
