Why Category-wise Data Matters
Category-wise student data helps the government track educational equity and plan welfare schemes. This data is used for scholarships, reservations, and policy planning.
Social Category Codes

| GEN | General | Students not belonging to reserved categories |
| SC | Scheduled Caste | As per state SC list |

Data Entry Format
For each class, you need to enter students by:
- Gender: Boys, Girls, Transgender
- Category: SC, ST, OBC, General

- Locomotor Disability

Common Validation Errors
- Category total ≠ Class total: Recount and verify
- CWSN count > Total: CWSN must be subset of total
- Minority count > Total: Minority is a subset, not separate
