Common Excel Errors

  • Wrong date format: Use DD-MM-YYYY not MM/DD/YYYY or other formats
  • Extra spaces: Remove leading/trailing spaces from all cells
  • Special characters: Avoid special characters in names
  • Invalid Aadhaar: Aadhaar must be exactly 12 digits, no spaces or dashes

Official limit is usually 1000 rows per upload. For larger data, split into multiple files.

Can I use Google Sheets?

Yes, but download as .xlsx before uploading to UDISE+. Do not use .csv or Google Sheets link.
