CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) is the average of grade points across subjects: CGPA = Sum of Grade Points ÷ Number of Subjects. In the CBSE pattern, the five main subjects are counted. Add a row per subject and enter either the grade point (0–10) or marks out of 100 — the tool handles both.

Worked Example
CGPA = (9 + 10 + 8 + 9 + 7) ÷ 5 = 8.6
Equivalent percentage: 8.6 × 9.5 = 81.7%
Note the additional (6th) subject: in the CBSE scheme, CGPA is computed on the five main subjects. If the 6th subject scores higher than one of the main five, some schools follow the replacement rule for the "best of five" — confirm your school's policy before comparing results.
